How to add Sub-Account?

NotesSub-accounts are created to assign access responsibilities to specific individuals. Clients can choose the role(s) and grant the sub-account holder access to multiple screens based on those roles.

Step-by-Step Guide to Create a Sub-Account

1. Navigate to Sub-Accounts Section

  1. Click on the 'Settings' option.
  2. Navigate to the 'Categories' section and select 'Company'.

  3. Once there, click on ‘Sub Accounts’.


2. Add Sub-Account Details

  1. After clicking on sub-accounts, a new page will appear on your screen.

    • Click on the 'Add Sub Account' button.


  1. Provide the following details to add a new sub-account:

    • Name: Enter the sub-account holder's name.

    • Email: Enter a unique email address.

    • Password: Set a password or generate a temporary one for the sub-account.

    • Phone Number: Enter a unique phone number.

    • Role: Choose a role for the sub-account so the user can access only the screens assigned to that role in the client portal.

    • Parent Selection (Hierarchy):

      • Select the Parent account when creating the sub-account. The parent account defines the structure:

        • Technician’s Parent = Regional Office

        • Regional Office’s Parent = Super H.O

      • This means the Technician reports to the Regional Office, and the Regional Office reports to the Super H.O.

    • Enable or disable the “Email login instruction to the user” option as needed:

      • If enabled, the user will receive an email with login instructions.

      • If not enabled, you must inform the user directly with all the details and instructions.


3. Email Login Instructions to the User

  1. Open your email inbox and locate the email received from "Support@dyrect.co".

    • If the Email Login Instructions to the User option was selected, the email will contain login instructions.

    • Open the email and click on the link provided.

  1. A new page will open where the user can set their password and gain access to their account.

  2. In cases where the option was not selected, a password must have been created at the time of the sub-account creation.

4. Reset a Password

  1. Click on the 'Settings' option and select 'Company'. Then click on ‘Sub Accounts’.

  2. Click on the drop-down menu next to the user's name under the 'Action' column.

    • You can either edit the account information or send a password reset link to the email provided.
